Kurn Sundaram is a poet and spoken word artist based in Northern California. His work has been recognized by the National YoungArts Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Alliance for Youth Artists and Writers, and more. When he isn't editing for the magazine, catch him watching a show he'll never complete.

Allison Zhang is a student on the pre-law track who devours novels like they are oranges. She was a guest speaker at the California Summer School for the Arts, and her prose will one day make her a household name. When she isn't writing, she is performing speeches for her college's debate team.​​​​​​

Aldrin Badiola is the author of the poetry collections PATRILINEAL (ink & ivy lit, 2025) and BURIED LOVE IN ARCHIVED WEBSITES (Ghost City Press, 2025). His works are published in The Hopkins Review and elsewhere. He is the editor-in-chief of Artists from Maryland. ​More about him here.

​Mike Romanelli lives in western North Carolina with his family and too many pets. He primarily writes horror, both as fiction and memoir. His work has previously appeared in Headwaters and Necksnap Magazine.

Nadyne Sattar is a Bangladeshi poet and writer based in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Literature is the great love of her life—it's rare to find her without either a pen or book in hand, or both. Her writing has been recognized by the National YoungArts Foundation and the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, among others. Sara Ardenne lives in a world of daydreams that was constructed slowly along her sixteen years of age. Her poetry aims to finds wonder in the smallest moments and echo the quiet architecture of the mind and heart. Sam Leonard is a memoir focused writer who shares her experiences growing up as a lesbian in the South and the complex relationship she has with her roots. Her work has previously appeared in HeadWaters and lives in the overflowing journals on her nightstand. She currently resides in Connecticut with her wife and two dogs where she spends her days gardening, reading, and, of course, writing.

Camila Amieva is a writer, poet, and aspiring journalist based in Miami, Florida. Her work has been published in The Elysian Chronicles, The Malu Zine, and Record Underground. She also has worked and volunteered as an editor for various literary magazines, including Antler Velvet and The Eyre. With a love for the experimental and bizzare, her work tends to be focused on themes of isolation, loneliness, and the quiet reflection that comes with solitude. â€‹â€‹

Aisha Al-Tarawneh is a 21-year-old student from Denmark and Jordan. A two-time Best of the Net nominee, she enjoys writing poetry and has been branching into prose lately. Other than writing, she enjoys reading, working out, and practicing her kickboxing. An aspiring psychologist with an interest in investigative work, she hopes to specialize in personality disorders, and also hopes to win an international archery competition sometime.

Joy Yin is a Chinese American writer and poet. She has always loved reading and writing, and in her free time, she likes to curl up and read a good book. Joy is also the founder and EIC of Lacuna Vox, a youth literary magazine. Ananya Mandar Kharat is a writer based in the Chicagoland area, where she spends her days on LetterBoxd and making chais. Alongside being recognized nationally by the Scholastic Art and Writing awards, she is either published or forthcoming in The Stirling Review, Eunoia Review, Frighten the Horses, and others. Her instagram handle is @ananyakharatt. One day, she'll backpack across Europe.

Patrick Pickering is a skateboarder, writer, and videographer living in Asheville, NC. His pen writes poetry and memoir, and his camera captures the skating community of WNC. His writing has appeared in Headwaters Creative Arts Journal, Sink Hollow Literary Magazine, and The Great Smokies Review. His video work can be found on YouTube.

Angelina Xu is a student at Columbia University majoring in International Relations and Visual Art. Her art has been recognized nationally by the Alliance for Youth Artists and Writers and various galleries.

ART EDITOR

aj is a self-taught visual artist creating watercolor and digital illustrations. Through her art business, she’s collaborated with clients around the world and contributed to official merchandise for independent musicians. Her work has been recognized by major art brands and shared widely through a close-knit Instagram community. She believes in making art that feels personal, thoughtful, and shared.
